Knowing where to go must be oriented from where you now stand
Gather the wisdom and insights of those who observe, interact with or work for your company. The Strategic Position Assessment taps into this collective knowledge via a survey that consists of 10-12 open-ended questions about your organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT). We sent this to your board, directors, managers and staff (approximately 15-20 people) for their anonymous response.
Purpose
Identification of your strategic position provides an essential step in the strategic planning process, both at the beginning of the plan’s development and as a way to update existing plans. Beyond this application, a SWOT analysis can also be utilized as a way to reveal your competitive advantages by matching your strengths to opportunities as well as converting weaknesses and threats into strengths and opportunities.
How the results are used
The survey will take your stakeholders about 30 minutes to complete. The results of these open-ended responses yield valuable information that is then aggregated and put into a SWOT report.
